SSL Certificate

Security and trust – beginning with SSL!

SSL certificate is more of a need, than a trend now: every search engine ranks your website higher if it’s protected with an SSL certificate. Nevermind the encrypted connection it provides, which makes your customers trust you more!

An SSL Certificate on your website entrusts your visitors that you take security of their data seriously and helps you generate additional revenue with the enhanced customer trust and confidence.

We always strive to provide our customers with digital certificates at the best prices. If you find somewhere the same certificate at lower price – just inform us about it via special request and we will do special discount for you. In the request, specify the certificate name and a link to the page where you’ve found it cheaper.

SSL certificates

Certificates with domain validation

To obtain this type of certificate you only have to confirm that you own the domain or that you are its authorized representative. It can be ordered by both individuals and legal entities. You will need to specify your Verification Email for confirmation. Typically, it is an adress from WhoIS or an address at the domnain that the certificate is issued. It must be a valid address, since that’s where the Certification Center will send all the instructions and the certificate’s code. By default, we use admin@domain.com, where domain.com is the domain, for which the certificate is issued. Note, that if it contains any hints that the site is a bank, forex or any other institution that runs financial transactions, you will need a certificate with both domain and organization validation.

Certificates with domain and organization validation

When registering certificates for financial institutions, CC checks not only the domain name, but also its ownership. Any visitor of the website will see the name of the organization that owns it in the address bar.
Before you apply for the certificate, make sure that your WhoIS info is valid and you are credited as the domain owner, not the CEO or system administrator. The process of verification will be considerably simplified if your organization is listed in the public databases on the Internet. Otherwise, you will have to send copies of your documents to the CC, in order to prove the existence and validity of your organization.

EV (Extended Validation)

Extended Validation means that it is a certificate of the highest trust level possible, or, as they are called by the public, “a certificate with a green address bar”. To obtain this certificate, you will need to pass additional checks, and in case with corporate clients, will have to send CC a special written form with the data on your organization, certified by a signature and a seal.
Extended Validation informs your vustomers that the traffic between your website and the visitor is secure, and both your website and organization have passed all the checks.

WildCard

If you want to use a secure connection to the primary domain and all its sub-domains the WildCard Certificate is exactly what you need. One such certificate will be valid for domains www.domain.com, mail.domain.com, my.domain.com etc. without any restriction on the number of sub-domains.
When generating a CSR request for WildCard certificate in the Common Name (CN) specify your domain name as *.domain.com, where domain.com is your domain name.

SGS (Server Gated Cryptography)

SGC certificates provide the highest level of connection encryption irrespectively of the type and version of the client browser.
Even if the client’s browser attempts to use 40 or 56-bit encryption, SGS certificate forces it to use at least 128 bit encryption.

Mobile certificate

Not all SSL certificates provide a secure connection when your visitors are using browsers on mobile devices (phones and tablets). Typically, such certificates are certificates with the initial domain check.

SAN/UCC, Multi-Domain

SAN SSL-certificates, also known as Unified Communications Certificates (UCC) are ideal for Microsoft Exchange products, as well as to protect the multi-domain projects.
You can protect your domains, subdomains, local names using only one certificate. These certificates are working with both external and internal domain names.
